Gorilla Chop.

Depth: 2-7m average

favourable wind: North

Entry: Beach/Steps

Gorilla chop is usually a winter point, but equally beautiful during the summer.

The water is usually calm and serene with an amazing aray of fish and corals.

Its depth makes it the perfect place to practice skin diving for the first time or if more advanced there are the beautiful corals to glide over.

This is one of my preffered points for skin diving and diving because of its ease of access and the beautiful panoramas

Blue Cave, Cape Maeda.

Average depth: 5m

favourable wind: South

Entry: Steps

The Blue cave is very popular diving point for beginners, give its popularity becomes very crowded in summer.

The best time to see its full magnificence is early morning 7-9am.

Entry is dependent on weather conditions, which make it accessible only about 50% of the year.

As it becomes so crowded skin diving in the Cave is only possible at off-peak hours.

Nakayukui.

Depth: 8-15m

Favourable wind: south

Entry: Beach

Nakayukui beach is a hidden treasure, it is not crowded, and offers amazing views of corals with an abundance of fish and turtles.

To reach the point the swim is a little longer than other points but well worth it.

There is a strong chance of swimming with turtles at this point.

For a first time skin diver this point may seem a little daunting but I promise memories that will last a lifetime.
